Ba Na Hills is a whole day on its own. The cable car lifts you from the jungle at the foot of the mountain to a summit about 1,400 metres up, where the Golden Bridge runs along the ridge in the grip of two giant stone hands. Above it sit a French-style village of castles and cobbled squares, a string of flower gardens and an indoor amusement park, and on a clear day the whole Da Nang coastline below.
This tour gives you the full day up there rather than half of one. Pickup is 7:30–8:00 AM from your hotel in Da Nang. You do the Golden Bridge, Le Jardin d’Amour and Linh Ung Pagoda in the morning, take the second cable car up to the French Village, sit down to a buffet lunch, and spend the afternoon in Fantasy Park before riding down around 3:00 PM. You are back at your hotel between 5:00 and 5:30 PM.
The return cable car and the lunch are in the price. If you would rather fit the caves of the Marble Mountains into the same day and spend less time at the top, look at the Marble Mountains & Ba Na Hills tour instead.

Your guide and driver collect you from the hotel lobby and drive you to the Ba Na Hills cable car station at the foot of the mountain.

Cable car up the mountain
The first cable car climbs over the forest and waterfalls. On a clear morning you can see the whole coastline of Da Nang from the cabin.

Golden Bridge, gardens and pagoda
Walk the Golden Bridge between the stone hands, then Le Jardin d’Amour and its nine gardens, and Linh Ung Pagoda above them.

Second cable car to the French Village
Ride on up to the summit village: the bell tower, the Square du Dôme, the street music and, if the timing is right, the carnival parade.

Buffet lunch
Lunch is a buffet at a restaurant in the village, included in the price.

Fantasy Park and the afternoon
The afternoon is yours to spend in Fantasy Park and the newer areas around the summit. Most rides and games inside are free; a few are paid on the spot.

Is the Ba Na Hills cable car ticket included?+
Yes. The return cable car ticket is in the price, and so is the buffet lunch at the top. What you pay extra for on the day is the wax museum, the wine cellar, the Alpine Coaster, the 10D cinema and the prize games — only if you want them.
How is this different from the Marble Mountains & Ba Na Hills tour?+
That tour spends the morning at the Marble Mountains and the afternoon at Ba Na, so you see the Golden Bridge and the French Village but not much else at the top. This one is the whole day on the mountain, with lunch included and the afternoon free for Fantasy Park.
Is it good for children?+
It is probably the best day out in the area for them. Fantasy Park is indoors, most of the games are free on the ticket, and the cable cars break the day into short rides. Bring a stroller only if your child really needs one — there are a lot of steps between the gardens.
What if it is cloudy at the top?+
Ba Na is often in the clouds, especially in the wet season from September to December. The bridge and the village still look good in mist, and Fantasy Park is indoors, so the day works in any weather. The view down to the coast is what you lose.
What should we bring?+
Comfortable shoes, a light jacket — it is noticeably cooler at the summit than in Da Nang — sunscreen, and something to cover your shoulders and knees for the pagoda.
